Catholic School Day

On Tuesday 21st St Joseph school came to our school to visit us because it was Catholic School’s Day.

We started with a beautiful mass, followed by a Lunch and we played with room 2 from St Joseph’s, they were yr 3 and 4 students. When we finished playing it was time to start the music concert. My buddy was Josie, she was awesome and cool.

We went inside the hall and sat down on the mats and some of the children sat on the chairs. We start with a prayer and then Room 7 sang a song called ‘Let it go’, they were awesome at singing their song. After that it was St Joseph’s turn and then followed by Room 7 again. Room 3 did the cup song, followed by the St Joseph’s Kapa Haka they looked cool at moving their hands.

When it was finished their Principal Miss Hira came and said “Thank you very much for letting us visit you guys”. They gave us a beautiful big feather, it was colourful and all the St Joseph’s children’s names were written on it. Finally they left because it was time for them to say Goodbye and go back to their school.  It was cool hanging out with St Joseph’s.
