Trip to Kelly Tarlton

The weather was 50/50, suddenly it was rainy and then it stopped.
But the exciting thing was that the whole school had a school trip to Kelly Tarltons!
How fun is that? I’ve always wanted to go and look at the sea creatures, today we all had the chance to go and seek new things about sea animal & sea life. Everything was organized and we were ready to go.

On the way there I was thinking about the sea creature that I don’t know about?
Maybe there aren’t any new sea creatures? Maybe they don’t have all of the sea creatures. Too many questions & the time is ticking. I was so excited to go to Kelly tarltons like no words can explain how I was excited to be there. Everyone was happy and pleased that we have reached Kelly Tarltons.

Seeing Scott's hut was pretty cool, looking at all those things was kinda weird even though it was only one person. There were a lot of things didn’t looked like one person was living in the hut but like 5 people because of seeing the stuffs inside. There were bunks beds, television, teapots, shovel and other equipments that he survived with in Antarctica. Our first creature that we saw was the Penguins. There were a lot of Penguins & I also saw King fish they looked quite similar to the penguins but they were hairy.

Seeing the penguins walking and sleeping was cute, when we were walking there were some hints hanging on the wall, I was surprised looking at the first hint it said “ There are only 17 species of Penguins in this world today”. I didn’t count the penguins because we had to go. I even saw the Giant squid!! It was disgusting looking at. I even saw Jellyfish, I thought that they never existed until I saw them with my own two eyes.

Later on we went inside this room “ Education room”? There was a staff there, she presented to us about sea animals & other creatures that got sick.  I’ve learnt a lot about sea creatures that she told us about, some of them was good and some of them was sad news. I think everyone did learn something from Kelly tarlton's & the presentation that she presented. Later on we saw some sea horses, they were kinda creepy, they were skinny & the funny thing is that the father gives birth to the child instead of the mother seahorse. Like it's kinda weird, because us humans it's a female that gives birth.

Seeing the seahorses appearance was cool too, they have no scales either stomach.
We also saw Sea dragon they kinda looked like seahorses but they were different I don’t know what are the difference between them. After the presentation we had a chance to touch 4 incredible things that I’ve never touched in my whole life. Which was Shark skin!, dry dead seahorses, Megalodon the jaws & shark egg! Touching them was kinda weird the shark sin was pretty cool because I’ve always wanted to touch a sea creature like the actually skin & I did get the chance.

From time to time it was time for us to leave Kelly Tarltons, I didn't feel like leaving because I wanted to see more but we had to go. I enjoyed every single moment that happened at Kelly Tarltons. Even watching the stingrays, they are also one of the magnificent creatures that I think is cool. They can tell if your an new staff when you're feeding them they will play with you and splash around you, they can also tell your heartbeats if you're scared or not.
